　　18 year old Jason Dorkel belongs to a community of gypsies. He is about to celebrate his baptism when his half-brother Fred returns after fifteen years in prison. Together, with their last brother, the violent, hot-headed Michael and their Christian activist cousin, the four young people set off on a binge among the "gadjos" in search of a cargo of copper.

　　本片为侯孝贤向法国导演艾尔伯特•拉摩里斯（Albert Lamorisse）拍摄于1956年的短片、在电影史上有重要地位的《红气球（Le Ballon Rouge）》的致敬之作，也是他继《咖啡时光》之后拍摄的第二部致敬外语片。
　　Suzanne（朱丽叶•比诺什 Juliette Binoche）每日为一出筹备中的改编自中国元曲的木偶剧《求妻煮海人》中角色的声音演出以及其它琐事忙得焦头烂额，加上丈夫Pierre远在加拿大蒙特利尔写小说，儿子Simon（Simon Iteanu）成了“累赘”，无奈，她请了在巴黎念电影的中国女孩Song（宋芳 Song Fang）照料Simon。与Simon在一起时，Song双手始终不离摄影机，并向好奇她在拍什么的Simon提及《红气球》。
　　Suzanne的房客Marc（Hippolyte GirardotLouise）仗着是Pierre的朋友，时常做出一些令她愤怒的事，而房租更是借口生活贫困已经好几个月未交。Suzanne有心接在布鲁塞尔的女儿Louise（Louise Margolin）回巴黎念书，决定赶走Marc，却不得Pierre理解。将一切看在眼里的Song没有参与类似琐事，她与Suzanne保持着淡然的朋友关系，多数时间想的只是她的电影：Simon发现一个无人理会的大红气球，拉着它穿越巴黎的大街小巷的过程，被她记录在摄影机里，成了一部电影中的电影。之后，该红气球也似有生命般，始终在Simon出现的地点上空飘来荡去。

　　Olivia (also known as Pit of Loneliness) is a 1951 French film directed by Jacqueline Audry. It is based on the 1950 semi-autobiographical novel by Dorothy Bussy. It has been called a "landmark of lesbian representation". Olivia arrives at a finishing school and falls in love with headmistress Mlle. Julie. Mlle. Julie feels the same, but tries to suppress her desire. For her part as Mlle. Julie, Edwige Feuillère was nominated for a BAFTA award for Best Foreign Actress in 1952.
　　French director Audry made 18 feature films from 1944 to 1972. Her earliest films are prime examples of the French 'tradition of quality.' She favored plots adapted from French literature. Audry is most distinguished from her peers in that her films were primarily focused upon female leads, whereas traditional French cinema is centered around the lives of men. Her most notorious film was 1951's Olivia, which dealt with lesbian relationships.

　　以上世纪西班牙內战为背景的政治惊悚片，前沙皇将军菲欧多带着妻子移居巴黎后，过着神秘的生活，在公产主义者受到压制的法国，菲欧多却公开声称自己的真实身份是间谍，而且是个三重间谍，同时服务于俄国的白军和红军，甚至德国的纳粹军。
　　1936年的欧洲，正值西班牙内战时期。身为前任沙皇军队将军的费欧多携着他年轻的希腊妻子阿茜诺一同移居巴黎。法国人对战争漠不关心，只管取笑西班牙人。阿茜诺同情她的共产主义邻居，费欧多的态度却很暧昧，他频繁地外出，谁也不知道 他去了哪里，做了什么，他还公开宣称自己是间谍。他究竟是为谁工作的？他是忠于沙皇的白军？红军间谍？纳粹分子？还是个三重间谍？

　　Akerman's Toute une nuit is a collection of vignettes depicting the fancies and dramatic moments of a number of people throughout one summer night. The film has little dialogue and relies on a remarkable series of contrasts for effect: a sultry night of deep, often painful depictions of passion visualized in a stark and grainy manner against the backdrop of a spiritless, bland Brussels.

　　By 1820, Edmund Kean is the most admired Shakespearan actor. But if his art is peerless, his free lifestyle is ill thought of, particularly by the high society. Kean has fallen passionately in love with Countess Elena de Koefeld, the wife of the ambassador of Denmark. Elena loves him too but hesitates to give up her rank in society and follow Kean. On the other hand, Anna, a rich heiress who refuses to marry Lord Mewill, the husband chosen by her parents, confesses her love for Kean and decides to become an actress like him... The aristocrats, outraged by Edmund's profligate ways, decide to boycott his performances and his career is broken. Kean does not recover from such a blow and, on a stormy night, dies in Elena's arms.

　　Middle class student Bob Letellier enters a new world when he meets Alain, a free-thinking rebel who, along with his group of young Parisians, has opted for a life of instant gratification instead of work and commitment. At a party, Bob meets a young woman, Mic, who appears to be just as carefree and cynical as Alain. Mic's only dream is to own a luxury car, and with Bob's help, she manages to find the money to but it. Mic's friend Clo discovers she is pregnant and, not knowing who the father is, she asks Bob to marry her. When they next meet at a party, Bob and Mic deny that they have any feelings for one another - a declaration that soon leads to tragedy...
　　
　　Marcel Carné is widely regarded as one of the standard bearers of French quality cinema of the 1930s and 1940s, responsible for such masterpieces as Quai des brumes (1938) and Les Enfants du Paradis (1945). How ironic then that, in 1958, towards the end of his film-making career, he should make a film which dared to portray the attitudes and behaviour of the 1950s youth, in a way that effectively captures the mood and sentiment of the time.
　　
　　Les Tricheurs was a hugely controversial film, not least because of its blatant depiction of adolescent free-love, and was even banned in some regions of France. It also received some intensely unfavourable reviews, most notably from the young hotheads on the Cahiers du cinéma such as François Truffaut who cited this film as a prime example of the decline of French cinema into mediocrity. In spite of all this negative press, the film proved to be an astonishing commercial success, attracting five million cinema-goers, and was awarded the Grand Prix du Cinéma français in 1958.
　　
　　Whilst Les Tricheurs is not as flawless as Carné's earlier masterpieces, it is nonetheless a significant work, having the power to both shock and move its audience, whilst having great entertainment value. It evokes the mood of its time in a way that few French films of this period did, depicting young people as pleasure-seeking rebels, rejecting the austerity and discipline of the previous generation whilst pursuing a life without cares, responsibilities or love. Similarities with James Dean's films of the 1950s (most notably Rebel without a Cause) are apparent, although Carné's treatment of young people is far more abstract - in his film they merely symbolise a world that has lost its way, more or less victims of post-war prosperity. Although the young people in Les Tricheurs lack the authenticity to be totally credible, the film does make an important, and indeed quite disturbing point, about where the permissive society may be heading.
　　
　　Much of the pleasure of the film is in the performances from its four lead actors, Jacques Charrier, Pascale Petit, Laurent Terzieff and Andréa Parisy, although only Terzieff is really convincing in his role. Marcel Carné originally considered Alain Delon and Jean-Paul Belmondo for the parts of Bob and Alain respectively, before opting for Charrier and Terzieff. As a consolation, Carné offered Belmondo a smaller part in the film - alas too small for the actor to be noticed by the public. Belmondo's breakthrough had to wait until the following year when he starred in Jean-Luc Godard's revolutionary A bout de souffle, a film which offers a very different perspective of the youth generation.

　　影片以1993年在巴黎18区发生的一起警察暴力的真实事件为背景：一名警察在巡逻期间枪杀了一名17岁的扎伊尔少年Makomé M'Bowolé。而在影片当中，巴黎街头，一群反政府青年。纠纷由其中一人被警察殴打重伤而起，众人怀恨在心。文兹（文森特·卡塞尔 Vincent Cassel饰）弄到一把真枪，决心还以颜色。他们的仇恨与愤怒随处可见，这场与警察之间的大规模冲突，一触即发。混战中，文兹被警察开枪打死，他的同党也颤抖着对准了警察的头，枪声响起……无论是警察还是街头混混，每个人都失去了控制。这青春期里的不安与躁动，就像失控的怒火一般，无人幸免。 导演马修·卡索维茨荣获第48届戛纳电影节(1995)主竞赛单元最佳导演奖。

六人在马赛乘坐火车到巴黎。 到达后，却发现一名妇女死于车上。 警方随即调查了另外五名乘客，并怀疑其中一人是凶手，但嫌疑犯一一离奇死亡。 最后两个幸存者必须在自己成为下一个受害者之前靠自己调查清楚。

　　当约瑟夫准备加入以色列军队服兵役时，发现自己不是父母的亲身儿子，在他出生时，他与约旦河西岸的一个巴勒斯坦家庭的小孩亚辛换错了。因这一发现，两个家庭的生活突然发生了翻天覆地的变化，这一发现迫使他们重新思考各自的身份、价值和信念。
　　本片围绕着巴以冲突这个历史悠久而且无法得到有效解决的问题展开，本该互相敌视的两个家庭阴差阳错的抱错了孩子并且把他们分别抚养成人——优秀的人。于是，在本片中，我们看到了民族的敌意，宗教的排斥，但是更多的是互相理解和接受的过程。“我不再是犹太人了，但是我也不是阿拉伯人。”在这样的命题下，我们发现解决这种棘手问题似乎只有一个出发点——在成为“什么人”之前首先成为一个“人”。

　　故事发生在20世纪的法国南方，尤果林（丹尼尔·奥图 Daniel Auteuil 饰）和叔叔塞萨（伊夫·蒙当 Yves Montand 饰）觊觎令居老人家肥沃的土地多时，终于设计将其害死。令两人没有想到的是，看似无亲无故的老人竟然有一位名叫若望（杰拉尔·德帕迪约 Gér ard Depardieu 饰）的儿子，而若望的母亲不是别人，正是塞萨那曾经将他抛弃的旧情人，对此，塞萨一直怀恨在心，一生未娶。
　　若望带着妻子艾美（Elisabeth Depardieu 饰）和女儿玛侬（Ernestine Mazurowna 饰）来到了乡间，善良的他完全没有注意到塞萨叔侄的恶意，过着无忧无虑的生活。塞萨将灌溉若望家天地的水源截断，若望的田地枯竭、牲畜渴死，焦急中若望一病不起撒手人寰，伤心的艾美离开了这伤心地，塞萨和尤果林终于如愿得到了土地，然而，这两家人之间的纠葛却并没有就此结束。

　　本片讲述在军事政权创独裁体制的南欧某国（影射希腊），反对政府的在野党领袖Z先生在一次演讲中遭人暗杀，政府当局公布是意外车祸而死，对这理由不能置信的人们强烈要求查明真相。从Z先生的同事那儿打听到种种迹象的检察官决定抵抗政治压力追查到底，终于发现这是一宗有计划的政治谋杀，并牵扯出许多政界的大人物。可是后来牵涉这件命案的人不是被流放就是被处以徒刑或是被杀。加斯华凭借此片一举成名，并开启了政治黑幕片的新风暴。

为了满足对自由的渴望，泰迪决定远离喧嚣的世界，独自在贝加尔湖冰冷岸边的一间小木屋里安顿下来。

一天晚上，他在暴风雪中迷路了，被躲在西伯利亚森林里多年的俄罗斯人阿列克谢救了出来。

这两个人之间的友谊突然而又至关重要。

　　During the cold and rainy off-season a man arrives in a seaside town and, giving his name only as Pierre, checks into the only hotel which remains open. His arrival arouses curiosity and a degree of suspicion, as people note that he appears to know the area, yet gives no explanation for his presence at that bleak time of year in the dead-end town.

　　Made during confinement, “In My Room” plunges us into the poignant story of a woman at the twilight of her life, through recordings of the director’s deceased grandmother. Living rooms become stages where life is performed. Windows become portals to the lives of others.
