　　故事发生在宾夕法尼亚的Banshee镇，曾经坐过牢的诈骗大师兼飞天大盗lucas（安东尼·斯塔尔 Antony Starr 饰）拿到了Banshee警长的身份，取代他成为了当地执法者。在小镇服役时间最长的警官Brock（马特·索维托 Matt Servitto 饰）本有希望成为警长，而lucas的到来威胁到他的地位。lucas发现他过去的情人Carrie（伊万娜·米利塞维奇 Ivana Milicevic 饰）改名生活在小镇，并嫁给了当地检察官。一方面，lucas用他新的合法身份继续秘密地犯罪，另一方面，暴徒冷血无情的乌克兰黑帮成员兔子先生（本·克劳斯 Ben Cross 饰），15年来一直在追踪lucas和Carrie的下落。但是一切都在lucas进入Banshee镇后变得不一样起来......

　　Sidney Bristow is a college student who has an unusual job – she is a spy working for the CIA under secret conditions where not even her friends knows what she does. When her boyfriend proposes Sydney tells him what she does for a living and her employers kill him in line with procedures. Deciding to leave the agency before they kill her too Sydney discovers that she has actually been working for SD6, an agency that is actually a shadowy criminal organisation world-wide. Sydney joins the CIA and works as a double agent to help CIA Agent Vaughn to bring down SD6. She finds that her father is the other double agent within SD6 and the pair work together. While following her missions to uncover the work of the prophetic Rambaldi she must feed information back to the CIA without blowing her cover.

　　《帕丁顿熊》“Mrs.Bird” Julie Walters将和《疑犯追踪》“Alonzo” Clarke Peters将联袂主演由《去他*的世界》主创Charlie Covell以及《真实的人类》Iain Weatherby担任编剧的六集电视剧《真爱》（Truelove）。
　　由于两名主演的年龄都超过了70岁（其它共同主演也基本超过了60岁），Channel 4表示希望通过独特、凄美还带着些黑暗风格的本剧来打破过往荧幕上对老年角色的种种规则，也会用引人入胜的情节转折、放肆的幽默以及充满激情的浪漫，在这个颠覆性的故事来向年龄歧视进行“开炮”。
　　剧中，Julie饰演“Phil”，从警长职位退休下来的她开始过着自己舒适却又无聊的晚年生活；和她有着相同感受的“Ken”（Clarke饰演），目前已经离婚、曾经是名特工。年少时期就认识的两人，从未忘记过对方。
　　某天，在一位朋友的葬礼上，Phil与Ken还有一帮老朋友重逢。在怀旧、畅饮的气氛之下，开始渐渐深入对人生的思考；大家讨论着什么叫做“理想的”离开，而彼此也达成约定：与其接受缓慢、让人可怕的年龄衰退，不如大家策划一个充满尊严的死亡。

　　Julie表示自己其实已经因为没有什么吸引人的项目而基本决定退出演艺圈，但直到遇到这部剧，她被其中的写作所震撼——它以我们这些已经身处晚年的人为背景，有着黑色幽默、爱情故事以及惊悚元素；而女主“Phil”聪明、风趣、犀利的性格也同样让她喜欢，在我这样的年纪，我能有多少机会扮演女主角？这让我迫不及待地想与Channel 4展开合作。而Clarke也补充道Charlie和Iain的剧本以自己从未见过的方式探索了“是否要帮爱的人以它想要的方式完结生命”的这种道德困境，它有趣、黑暗并且充满了悬念。

　　Six months have passed since Dr. Ogden moved to Buffalo and Det. Murdoch is constantly a loggerheads with Dr. Francis, her replacement. While Insp. Brackenreid thinks highly of Francis, who was recruited from Scotland Yard, Murdoch finds him stubborn and unimaginative. He also seems to be in no rush to help Murdoch with his latest case where human body body parts were discovered on a riverbank encased in cement. A homeless man living in the woods nearby is questioned and released and Murdoch corresponds with Dr. Ogden who offers him valuable advice in her letters. He also gets help from a retired detective, Malcolm Lamb. Murdoch connects his current investigation a rape and murder that had occurred many years before.

　　第三季发生在种族、宗教和地狱之轮小镇居民之间矛盾冲突更加鲜明、激烈和丰富，还多了主要角色间的幽默互动，再加上潇洒的男性人物、绮丽的风光、善恶对立等传统西部片元素，终于脱离了前两季空洞抒情的套路，无论是观赏性还是剧本质量都是极大的提升。

　　维奥莱特（玛丽娜·维丝曼 Malina Weissman 饰）、克劳斯（路易斯·哈恩斯 Louis Hynes 饰）和桑尼是情同手足的三姐弟，维奥莱特满脑袋都是古灵精怪的奇思妙想，克劳斯饱读诗书能够记得他看过的一切东西，桑尼虽然年幼，但拥有四颗雪白结实的门牙，战斗力不可小觑。
　　一场意外让三姐弟成为了无家可归的孤儿，为了替自己找到一个可靠的新家，三人踏上了旅途。远房亲戚奥拉夫伯爵（尼尔·帕特里克·哈里斯 Neil Patrick Harris 饰）收养了三人，但很快，维奥莱特便发现，奥拉夫真正想要的，其实是他们的父亲留下的巨额遗产。为此，邪恶的奥拉夫甚至一手策划了一场车祸，企图将三个孩子置于死地。
