　　Nature’s Great Events is a BBC nature documentary series broadcast from 11 February 2009.[1] The British version is narrated by David Attenborough and is being shown on BBC One and BBC HD. It should not be confused with the 1996 Reader's Digest video series of the same name.
　　In the USA, the series will broadcast on the Discovery Channel under the alternative title Nature’s Most Amazing Events.

　　决定跨上欧兜迈那一剎那，挑战才正式开始：他们面对家人的反对、高龄考照、老化身体功能障碍，以及1139公里漫漫征途中的风雨、坍方等各种严峻考验。出发前一天，团长甚至胃溃疡复发，血红素持续下降…他要如何带领不老骑士们，完成梦寐的里程呢？

　　有一天，当你八十岁，还有多少做梦的勇气？不老骑士说，走，我们骑欧兜迈环台去。
　　为推动活跃老化，鼓励老人心中有梦，再创生命价值，2007年11月13日~25日弘道老人福利基金会举办了「挑战八十、超越千里~不老骑士欧兜迈环台日记」活动，在不老骑士赖清炎团长登高一呼：「人老了不是就没有用，不要让年轻人看不起老伙啊！」之下，17位平均年龄81岁的不老骑士，决定完成欧兜迈环台创举，实践了前所未见的不老精神。基金会并于活动进行期间也筹拍了纪录片、委由旋转牧马多媒体工作室拍摄制作，并在长片正式与观众见面之前，于去年秋抢先完成了「不老骑士-2008抢先版」纪录短片，举行了多次首映会。
　　在这部纪录短片当中，不老骑士活泼逗趣的互动与对话颠覆了一般人对老人的印象，让首映现场笑声不断，而一个个扣人心弦又激励人心的真实情节感动现场观众，也让本片获得新闻局电影短片辅导金一百万元的支持与肯定。纪录片导演华天灏表示：「懂事以后很少跟爷爷聊天，也从没想过会拍一部跟老人有关的纪录片。这次和不老骑士长达半年的拍摄相处，他们天真可爱的一面、满满的人情味、丰富的人生经历以及对于圆梦的坚持与努力，都是让我记忆深刻的。很荣幸在我27岁的时候，能拍一部81岁的真实感人故事。」为了带给更多人更多的梦想及感动，从去年9月起到12月止，弘道老人福利基金会与不老骑士们带着这部「不老骑士-2008抢先版」纪录短片，展开全台巡回首映会，接到的巡回分享会热情邀约也破百场，期能藉此鼓励不管任何年龄都有做梦、圆梦的权利和能力。

　　随着工业文明的高度发展，各种各样的食物也变得供不应求，但在这看似繁华的背后，食品安全却已到了不容忽视的地步。影片从快餐业入手，逐步向种植业、畜牧业、养殖业延展开去，揭露了大型食品公司经营者为了获取高额利润不惜改变动植物的生长方式和生长周期，他们在经营上取得丰厚的利润，而代价却是公众的健康和安全。在看似清洁的食品加工流水线上，沙门氏菌和希氏大肠杆菌毫无阻碍渗透到食物当中，毒害着人类的生命。由于政策等方面原因，人们无法也无力拒绝大公司强加于身的迫害。在金钱和欲望面前，我们自取灭亡……
　　本片荣获2009年华盛顿影评人协会最佳纪录片奖。

　　The massive man-made satellite, commonly known as the International Space Station, hurtling around the Earth at 27,600 km an hour, has been a temporary home for humans for the last 20 years. The biggest land vehicle on earth, a bucket excavator titled Bagger 293, that can move 240,000 cubic meters of dirt each day. Innovation has always meant building bigger, faster, taller, longer and stronger than anything that came before. We’ve seen them in dramatic visual fashion. But how do these actually work? What sets each machine apart. What big ideas drove its evolution and what limitations did this machine overcome? What forces was it built to withstand and where is the breaking point? Using CGI and expert insights, we ‘strip down’ the design of some of the world’s unique colossal machines and reveal mechanical secrets that not only made them work, but also changed the world in a big way!
　　Each episode explores four incredible machines, linked thematically. From sea and space faring designs, to mega airborne, mining and industrial machines, we’ll break down what they can do as well as key inner mechanics and materials that make it all possible. Dynamic archival footage featuring; slow motion, aerials, and time-lapses get us past the ‘caution’ tape and up close and personal with these compound monsters. CGI provides breakouts and blueprints and a look at hidden mechanisms. Adding expertise of structural, mechanical, chemical and forensic engineers to help reveal what’s at stake when these colossal constructions are put work, and how all the pieces come together to make a big impact.

　　FINDING OSCAR is a feature length documentary about the search for justice in the devastating case of the Dos Erres massacre in Guatemala. That search leads to the trail of two little boys who were plucked from a nightmare and offer the only living evidence that ties the Guatemalan government to the massacre.
