　　A 16-year-old Sofía Rivera had to move constantly because of her parents' work and live in the most remote places. These discoveries and aspects of his own history deriving from dark experiences on the Eastern front, lead him to question his own actions and moral path. They also lead him to a shadowy figure caught up in a conspiracy that might change the course of the War - for the better. That man, very much changed by his own shattering experiences, is Klaus Hoffmann (Rick Okon). These two historically based strands come together in an unexpected, thrilling finale.

电视剧的蓝本来自于著名作家H.G. Bissinger的小说《Friday Night Lights: A Town, a Team and a Dream》，小说曾获普利策文学奖，讲述了在Texas一支高中橄榄球队Odessa-Permian Panthers在1988赛季比赛的真实故事，故事里的教练、球员及他们的经历都是真实的。
