汤屋街物语

　　唐永强一家住在新界，虽然太太有工作，但唐永强却失业，家里没有收入，靠领取综援维生。两夫妇的关系逐渐转淡，太太更是红杏出墙，唐一怒之下竟出手打妻子，妻子更离开唐跟情夫出走了。两名女社工在跟进唐这个问题家庭的个案时，竟发现唐正胁持着子女在家中，要求跟妻子见面。最后竟引爆石油气，警方在现场搜证和落口供，竟发现了近日两案女童失踪案事主的尸体，众人都毛骨悚然……

　　Yitzhak runs the turkey farm his father built with his own two hands after they emigrated from Iran to Israel. When his son Moti turns thirteen, Yitzhak teaches him the trade, hoping that he will continue the proud family tradition. But Moti doesn't like working in the turkey barn; his passion is fixing up junkyard cars and bringing them back to life. Moti's mother Sarah tries to reconcile between the two, while his grandfather pushes Yitzhak to take a firm hand with his son. Yitzhak takes Moti's refusal to work in the turkey barn as a personal rejection. Though he loves his son dearly, he makes it his mission to impose the family farm on Moti. The arrival of Darius, the uncle from America, sets off a chain of events that will undermine the familial harmony. Soon enough Yitzhak will learn that his son is just as stubborn as he is. 　　Set in Prague in 1953, this suspenseful crime drama follows honest police captain Hakl (Trojan) and his investigation of a seemingly mundane robbery at a goldsmith’s shop. 　　On the orders of State Security, Hakl’s investigation is taken over by Major Zenke (Sebastian Koch, The Lives of Others), an East German specialist, who has been told to “prove” that the gold was stolen by the Jewish community to finance Zionist terrorism. But the experienced Hakl’s instincts puts him on the path of an altogether different story. Can one just man stand up to the forces of an increasingly oppressive state? The shadow of the past looms over all involved, and this can make a culprit of a victim and a hero of a culprit. Somber and atmospheric, this is a moving and compelling study of the Stalinist era.

　　Marilyne et Bruno Caron arrivent dans un village de montagne pour emménager dans un chalet qu’ils ont loué à Patrick Castang, promoteur et propriétaire de nombreuses habitations dans la région. Contents de quitter le nord de la France pour démarrer une nouvelle vie, ils acceptent sans sourciller quand Castang leur annonce qu’il va les loger momentanément dans un autre chalet de grand standing car le leur n’est pas terminé. S’ensuivra alors une succession de déconvenues qui va les conduire à déménager de nombreuses fois, avec le sentiment grandissant d’être traités sans aucune considération, alors même que les Castang multiplient patiemment et avec bienveillance les efforts envers eux. Les relations entre les deux familles vont se tendre. Bruno et Marilyne Caron ne supportent plus d’avoir sous leurs yeux le bonheur et l’abondance de biens des Castang.

　　The actress Tania travels from Munich to a village in the north of Germany. The skies are grey, just like the sea and the wintery plains. Her feelings are also covered in a grey veil of mist. Her painful past makes it impossible for this forty-something to feel anything at all.
　　The arrival of the stranger is immediately noticed in the tight-lipped community, but she is hardly welcome. Only the teenager Thore, whose imagination is too much for this no-man’s-land, has contact with her. A fragile band develops between them - attraction, rejection and occasionally sexually charged. Thore reveals a need in Tania, one she didn’t know she had. She decides to ‘steal’ Thore to come to terms with her own loss.
　　Rough is a directing debut filmed with great poise and with a sharp eye for this beautiful yet slightly depressing landscape and the people who inhabit it. The camera first functions as a detached observer, then as an accomplice, always very close to Tania.
