接线女孩如今进入了第五季，也将是本系列的最后一季。自2017年接线女孩第一季播出以来，每年Las chicas del cable都和我们一起成长，如今这支独立自由的女子团队（现已由四人组成）也迎来了道别的时刻。 二月十四日情人节，第五季将在Netflix上首映.
与英版类同，美版每集皆有独立的案件及一位等待法庭判决的被告，而剧中会重新描述被告的背景及被指控什么案件，同时让观众思考他是否有罪。
克里斯汀·贝尔主演的剧集《美眉校探》将拍新版，由Hulu出品，共8集，贝尔回归饰演女主Veronica Mars，其他主创也有望回归。《美眉校探》2004-2007年播出了3季，2014年推出同名电影，讲述高中/大学女生Veronica扮作私家侦探调查小镇上发生的各种离奇案件。
