　　2002年，韓培印的兒子勝利考上了西安一所大學，從農村來到城市。為了讓勝利上學，老韓變賣了家裏所有值錢的東西，到西安打工，為兒子解決大學的生活費和來年的學費。做了一輩子農民的老韓堅信知識會改變命運，他樂觀地盼望著，兒子上了大學，將來一定會有出息。
　　勝利面臨畢業，性格內向的他面對強大的就業壓力，感覺這個城市越來越遠，上過大學的他很可能賺得比父親還要少。
　　有一個本子被老韓隨身裝了好幾年，裏面記滿了三年來十元、二十元的借款記錄，以及他對兒子勝利的期望：“我兒勝利要在2013前後，也就是父親的60歲前後，咱們全家到北京好好的玩幾天，那時候咱們大家都很有錢……”

And toddlers learning new words show that taking even a short nap after learning something new can help the information stick. And when it comes to sleeping poorly, it may turn out that having interrupted sleep can be just as harmful as missing sleep altogether. 　　本片跟随南卡罗莱纳州治安官部门的警官，展现了他们对在令人不安的情况下失踪的人口进行紧急搜寻的过程。
